Greenhouse Blackberry Purge

Greenhouse Blackberry Purge

The blackberries have claimed the greenhouse.

It's time to reclaim it.

Join us for a day of shared work, good conversation, and community as we begin transforming an overgrown greenhouse into a gathering space for future potlucks, workshops, celebrations, and community events.

This work party is part of an ongoing effort to prepare our land for hosting people. Every branch cut, every wheelbarrow hauled, and every path cleared helps create a place where people can gather, connect, and belong.

What We're Doing

  • Cutting back blackberry canes
  • Clearing access paths
  • Hauling brush and debris
  • Reclaiming usable greenhouse space
  • Dreaming together about what this space could become

No experience required. There will be jobs for every energy level.

What to Bring

  • Work gloves
  • Loppers or pruning shears (if you have them)
  • Long sleeves and sturdy shoes
  • Water bottle
  • A dish to share for the potluck

We'll gather, introduce ourselves, and share a brief intention for the day.

Why This Matters

At ReVillage Society, we believe belonging grows through participation.

A village is not built by spectators. It is built by people showing up for one another, sharing meals, lending hands, and creating spaces where relationships can flourish.

This greenhouse cleanup is more than a work party. It is an invitation to become part of a story that is still unfolding.

Come for the blackberries.

Stay for the people.

RSVP

Let us know if you're coming so we can plan for food and tools.
